Take a look at the 2.0-rc8-tarball. It has example-initscripts included
which should work like a charm (even on RH9). I haven't looked up if
these also are included in older -rc's.

Those docs are totally outdated. They were essentially correct up until 1.2.2 I
believe (when the whole build.sh hack was replaced

The worst thing about dbmail is that it has no docs - I felt sorry so much
times cause I have chosen to use it..
However, what I see that it is not covered
POP and IMAP are seperate daemons than Postfix. They need to be run
seperately, that would explain why pop is not connecting.
Here's what happens when the mail enters the system, more or less:
Postfix's SMTP server will look up the email address, and decide if a) it's
going to accept it or no

This is POSTFIX how-to for that :)
