Peter:

You bring a point which I was thinking about. So here are three questions:

(1) Postfix & MySQL & dbMail: After I assemble Postfix with MySQL support,
do I need to create the /etc/postfix/mysql-aliases.cf file?

I do not have this file because I thought that dbMail has a similar file!

(2) Postfix & MySQL & dbMail: Where is the actual email is stored? Is it in
dbMail database or in "Maildir"? Do I need to setup data storage type in
main.cf file?

(3) After /etc/dbmail.conf file is edited, I am supposed to run
dbmail-config. I have not been able to find dbmail-config. Where is this
command & what is the actual shell to run it?

Tomorrow morning, I am going to do a fresh install of RH9, MySQL & dbMail. I
am hoping these issues are resolved so I have a smooth sailing.

Kirti

The worst thing about dbmail is that it has no docs - I felt sorry so much
times cause I have chosen to use it..
However, what I see that it is not covered in that tutorial is to make
postfix look at dbmail alias tables for alises but not in his alias file.
Look at
http://www.postfix.org/MYSQL_README.html

This is POSTFIX how-to for that :)
