The worst thing about dbmail is that it has no docs - I felt sorry so much times cause I have chosen to use it.. However, what I see that it is not covered in that tutorial is to make postfix look at dbmail alias tables for alises but not in his alias file. Look at http://www.postfix.org/MYSQL_README.html
