I hope this finds everyone relaxed and happy after Hanukkah and the Christmas season. We are in the process of completing a small repair on our hull and are having a problem matching the gelcoat. It appears that most of the available gelcoat is a few shades off (cream vs our grey-ish tint). Not

Thank you Tom. Niagara on the Lake is a perfect place for a solution given Obsession's heritage and the number of C&C's that he may have worked on in that area. BTW, nice choice on your boat ;-) Joanne C&C 37/40+ Sent from my iPad > On Dec 30, 2013, at 1:09 AM, Tom B wrote: > > Our

David and I looked for a C&C 37/40+ boat for over two years to find the right one for us (condition), and while I agree with the volume of advice you have received, there is one area that wasn't covered. (Please excuse me) We hired a naval architect that performs surveys using a Fli

Bob, Your on the right track, to replace the foam with the same quality C&C used on the original cushions would not only be crazy expensive, but in most cases unnecessary. When we had our C&C 29 MKII, I removed the dried out disintegrating velour fabric, cleaned the foam, and recovered every p

Considering all of the other production boats on the market and knowing the way these boats are built in comparison (owned 2, sailed/raced on 4), I am wondering what your frame of reference is. Regardless and fortunate for us, these boats were maintained and without "issues". Sorr
