Bob,

Your on the right track, to replace the foam with the same quality C&C used on
the original cushions would not only be crazy expensive, but in most cases
unnecessary. When we had our C&C 29 MKII, I removed the dried out
disintegrating velour fabric, cleaned the foam, and recovered every piece with
Sunbrella, backed with phifertex and reinstalled the zippers. North Star was a
1983 and outside of the old fabric, zippers and foam were in great condition
after a cleaning.

I hope you find someone in your area to do your recovering. I did mine and if
your not committed to it on a full time basis, it WILL take awhile. (ok, so
cushions, how does that make the boat go fast ;-))

Been there, done that and am now getting quotes for our 37/40+ cushions, won't
be thrilled about the cost but won't miss the 90's blue either.....
