But the Atkins will be happy to sell you a new hatch. I've been just trying to
rebed a new lens in my 200 frame and it's been a nightmare to deal with A&H.
Last Feb., I told them
If I can fix a fuel problem on an A4, anyone can! Totally agree with the
others to clean your fuel tank well (removing it is not as hard as it appears)
and go thru each line to make sure its clean and tight (no air leakage), change
filters, install polishing filter, electronic ignition, etc.

So if my belt is slipping, can I just pull the alternator out to tighten? Or do
I have to replace it? It has squealed from time to time and I can push it in
maybe 1/2". Is replacement a two person job?

Hi All, I just found out from my 84 yr old mom whose otherwise healthy as a
horse, that she has declined invitations to sail because its hard for her to
get over the lifeline without losing her balance. So...gates are in order
asap! The upper lifeline is larger than the lower (probably 3/16"

I just took my clew slug off. I MacLubed the sheave and fastened the out haul
line with a bowline straight to the clew eye. The metal slug was heavy as he'll
and would not allow easing out in light air. Just my .02. We'll see.

I've been trying for months to figure out where all the fresh water in the
bilge is coming from. I re fastened o rings and washers for the single water
tank and today while on board on the pouring rain, it sounded like a current of

both stored on deck. Could I not just use the whisker pole at the allowable
