!important; }  John and Maryann, I'd definitely go for a California style 
dodger (we call them Carolina style 😉). You can zip out the front window for 
airflow on a hot day and still have the shade from the raised dodger. I don't 
race with my dodger up, (in the winter it can afford protection from freezing 
air) but some folks do.  The vinyl Windows will last longer if you take care to 
put a fold in them as you fold the dodger frame down. Just like convertibles 
did before we had roofs and glass windows disappearing into the trunk at the 
push of a button!
