I looked at the Defender site, and wonder why the Nicro vents are worth

The Nicro is from Marinco, which is a company that specializes in
electrical gear for harsh environments. Who the heck knows what
Sunforce's core competency might be? They are sold at Home Depot for use
to ventilate garden sheds. Will they hold up in salt air and salt spray?

All,
I second Jim Watts’ recommendation of a Day/Night Solar Vent. Though I
haven’t used them myself on the Enterprise, I’ve heard of others having great
results with them.
The one caveat I’ve heard, in order to really get the benefit, is that
you should install two; one towar

Hi Dan,
As you probably know, raindrops bounce. You must
keep the bounce out of the vent hole into the
boat. What you linked is essentially a hood,
next is required a baffle to keep the wet from
getting below and a box to make it all elegant.
With this arrangement it does not need somethin
I’m wanting to install a vent on my C&C 26 and curious on how the rain is kept
out? Seems I live in the Pacific North West where we have an abundant of
moisture. Does it have something that can be closed during downpours.
Thanks,
Dan
