I used Alligator tape to seal the windows while I contemplated replacing them.
Worked OK.

I thought Alligator tape was for bandages. It sticks for gelcoat and plastics
too? Where do you get it?

outside with limited success, and it looked like crap. I'd try the sealant
that was originally used to avoid any reaction between the two sealants.
