I hold a USCG 50 GRT Inland Masters with Towing Endorsement and went through
the process about 6 years ago.
It’s rigorous. I did it like most folks do to obtain it, through a school, in
this case Sea School. You will learn quite a bit, much of which you thought you

Did the Sea School prior to sitting for the tests, have no idea of how it
works these days. Renewal is a PITA as we just went through that with the
