I have shipped 6 of these C&C 30 OD boats to Japan this year with more
expected to ship in 2016. We have shipped a number of them to Europe as
well. This is one hot boat and has taken off internationally.

I just went through this survey process. We agreed (my broker, the buyer's
broker & the potential buyer) that he would pay for the haul out and launch
and I would pay for the pressure wash if one was required. The survey was
perfect, the bottom was clean (this I already knew) and the potential buye
it appears to have the same state registration number as the yacht salvage
boat.

I did the basically the same boom modification that Bill mentions to Honey
back in 1998/99. The mast person can adjust the mainsail out haul by hand
without using the reefing winch.
Stop by the boat (berthed at SYC) next time you are in Savannah and take a
look. the original out haul arr

This maybe considered a charter by your insurance company. I would make
sure that you have liability cover and that your underwriters approve of
renting your boat.

I had UK Sails in Charleston replace every piece of the rod with Dyform 6
wire and never looked back. I have owned my 39 since 1975 and the Navtec
rod has been a PITA as well as expensive to properly maintain.
I haven't noticed any difference in the way that my boat sails except that

Yikes and good luck. I think that I would replace damaged parts rather than

The government bureaucrats in Savannah want to see the boat's registration
upon entry so there is no joy when entering a non registered boat into the
USA here.
