Hi,
I replaced the festoon bulbs in my 6 fixtures two years ago with these LEDs.
There are still working great. One white LEDs is more then twice as bright as
the old festoon and draws half the power too. The red LED draws less than 1/4
of that of the old red incandescent. My light fixt
I'm not surprised! Sounds like the work of the Corps of Engineers...

By rights, we should divert the Ohio back up to Lake Erie, because a lot of
that water came from Lake Erie!

The latest NOAA ENSO seasonal outlook for the next 3 months has the upper Great
Lakes getting above average precipitation. See the
second last page for precipitation map. Also lots of other interesting stuff
for weather geeks in these reports.

I just bought one of these and one is left. For $12 it doesn't look bad.

The reason I went with the original post was because a carbon post would have
necessitated a larger diameter hole in the hull which I didn't want to get
into. It was tempting to get a lighter rudder, but old post was in good shape
so it was much simpler to use it.

Joe,
Sounds awesome! The Bay is great this time of year - no motorboats or crab
pots! Hopefully I'm only a week behind you. Saturday I hope to reinstall
the cabin sole and put in a new set of line organizers and clutches.

Sorry your voyage had such a rough start. FYI - I took the rudder out of my 35
MK I and it wasn't all that hard - just tedious. It isn't all that heavy
either. If the MK II has as crappy a bearing/collar design as the MK I you will
be wanting to redo that too.

WE will be picking up our replacement which in our case was built around the
original SS post and cost about what Tartan or South Shore would have charged,
but appears to offer superior build and hydrodynamics.
