Barking mad? Perhaps.
My boat sometimes has a bad case of barking spiders. Noticed they're
particularly noisy after a good bowl of chili or a bratwurst and sauerkraut.
Warm weather needs to hurry. :)

Just in case the KVH gives out, I really like my DataMarine Link 5000. I
pick up the displays on ebay for about $25 and the computer for about
$100. Occasionally a fluxgate compass and a wind bird show up too. The
displays are just daisy chained with shielded RCA cables so wiring multiple

I love folkboats. And I am not crazy about Microsoft. I've no doubt I'd make

I went out a bought a Folkboat fiberglass hull and deck to finish out. The rest

Yeah, dual displays are the gold. I have 2 extra, one of which is getting
faded. It got damp and I dried it out but it is not the same.
I have another one with the LCD partially fried.
There was a whole set on ebay a couple weeks ago that I almost bought but
it only had one dual. Looks like someo

Thanks. Wow -- Vessel Vanguard is pricey!
mycrprojects.net seems like a good thing, even though it's built for

A problem some boats have is that they don't last as well as others. You
see lots of C&Cs of our boat's vintage around and looking really good,

That's not to say that Hunters don't fulfill their design brief, they do,

I paid $10 (yep, ten dollars) less for Touche' in 1999 than it cost new in
1971. Somewhere in the early 80's, the previous owner had secured a $62K
mortgage on it.
