I am using rsync for incremental backups. I am backing up from
one hard drive to another: backing up directories under / on one
hard drive to /mnt/backup/squeeze/backup.0 on the second hard
drive. On the second hard drive I am us

I am in need of a printer; looking for a black and white lazer

I realized --numerial-ids should have been numeric-ids, but a little to
late. Rsync only copied some of the files over and erased a lot of my
installation in /home and / . I had to reinstal

I am trying to backup my computer to an external drive using rsync.
From / to /media/root-backup
The problem: rsync copies more directories than I want and it
copies /media/root-backup multiple times.
I have included my backup script and filter rule file.

I have a number of audio and video files. I would like to adjust the
volume so it is set to 0. Would be interested in a program that I could
do as a batch such as a directory. Hopefully not too complicated. I
have used Audacity, but don't know if that would work with the audio on
the video files.

32 bit on desktop.

Iceweasel quit working with flashplayer. From what I've read on the Web
this is a problem with Iceweasel. I would like to try another browser
if someone could suggest that would work with flashplayer, and how to
get it working. I tried Konqueror. I have flash

Using Debian Lenny
I am having problems using flash on You Tube. When I use full screen
Iceweasel crasses. I installed a script: 'youtube_without_flash'.
When I play a You Tube video Xine trys t play the video, but it doesn't
work. Will using another player work better/how would I get another
