Does anyone have experience with scanning. I can't seem to find a program to work with scanning a document. I've tried gscan2pdf which wouldn't print properly; xscanimage which I used with Image Magic (display) which gave me a document with the print smaller than it should be and shaded; simple-scan was the best over all, but had a black margin on one side about 1/2". I had gscan2pdf working on my old computer with Debian Squeeze. Now I'm using a laptop with CrunchBang Waldorf, so I don't know if the OS is the problem or the drivers on the scanner are not working with the new OS or laptop.
