I checked it too and everething is ok, except tests
nr. 24, 25 ( which are non-virus, anyway ).

i upgraded to zlib 1.2.2 yesterday night (before i read you mail), but it
still have the same problem
it might come from another soft since i did not have time to update
everything.
i will update file, m4, and unzip to see if the problem comes from one of
these.

Make sure you updaed both the static and shared libraries, zlib only
build static libraries by default.

well i'm completely lost.
i've tried something dirty : erase the links and compile zlib again.
at hte end of make i have the followong errors :
pkg_create: Overwriting /usr/pkg/lib/libz.so - pkg zlib-1.2.2
