Not sure if this has been reported yet, but while trying to compile on
RH9 (./configure --sysconfdir=/etc --enable-milter) the operation fails:
make[1]: *** No rule to make target `../docs/clamav-milter.8', needed by
`all-am'
I also get this on OpenBSD and bzlib.h is in my include path.

The problem wasn't related to the /tmp dir, but due to an incorrectly created
/dev/urandom entry in the chrooted directory.
This caused clamd to wait for data which never came, resulting in a hang.

have tried to install it using rpm versions of 0.54, 0.6 and 0.65. I
have also tried tarballs of 0.6 and 0.54. Everything seems to install
correctly, and clamscan and freshclam both function correctly. However,

I changed clamav.conf so now it looks for
LocalSocket /tmp/clamd
Next I have given ovnership for clamd to amavis (chmod vscan:vscan) but
it appears that amavis does not start clamd daemon. User vscan start
manually cmamd witout errors.
