I have the BaoFeng UV-5RTP and the BTECH UV-5X3. I program them with chirp, and nary a problem. The images that show both +- on at the same time give me pause. I don't have any experiences with Baofeng, Kenwood, Icom, and Yaesu that has them both on. So...is there some way to do a factory reset

When I want to use 2 radios to check, I either place one in another room with the volume up so that I can hear it, or I place it farther away, and use my phone to record a few minutes, giving me time to return to the first radio and send a test message, return and stop the recording. Rich NE1EE

First I'd like to say, what an awesome, helpful group, Does anyone have any experience with the BAOFENG UV-5R8W? I Just got one from ABBREE through Amazon. Has anyone had success with any type of software for programing? This is supposedly a three power model. I have tried a few models on CHIRP
