For a Tape the recomended Job number is only one, because if you run more than
one you're interleaving data between jobs and restore takes longer (and i think
that database size is bigger too). You can try to use Spooling, but i can't
help you with that because i'm starting to configure spooling
Hello,
We have Bacula 7.0.4 on CentOs.
How many maximum number of concurrent backup can be fire on tape drive?
Is there anylimits?
On BAT (GUI) I see only 10 jobs are running and rest show as "Created not yet

Hi there,
I just noticed that (for disk backups) by
1. (director) specifying multiple "Device = " lines in the "Storage" section
that
is referenced by a given (single!) Pool and
2. (storage daemon) setting "Maximum Concurrent Jobs = 1" per device
Bacula does perform a true parallel backup -

Yes it is. Have you set Maximum Concurrent Jobs in the director, the
filedaemon and the storage daemon? Also are you using tapes from more

Hello!
I have a question concerning enabling concurrent backup for only one job:
(a) I have several backup jobs backing up servers connected via a GBit LAN.
These backups can go directly to tape, no spooling, one after the other. I
don't want any concurrency between these backup jobs
(b) I h
