Now that I got the console fixed it seems I've tweaked something beyond my knowledge. The bacula director wont start. I run ./bacula start which returns [EMAIL PROTECTED] bin]# ./bacula start Starting the Bacula Storage daemon Starting the Bacula File daemon Starting the Bacula Director daemon

Sorry I'm not including the chain of crap but here's the jist of it. FC8 Redhat Linux install as a server without gnome installed initially DID NOT have a specific package installed that caused the bconsole not ton install. Thanks to Martin locating my failure in the install I ran the following.
