felix,
i too have noticed a severe performance degradation due to high load
when i upgraded the backups server from 2.0.1 to 2.2.7. both sets of
rpms came from the rpms-contrib-fschwarz repository on sourceforge.net.
were your rpms based on an --enable-batch-insert option to ./configure ?

Sorry, I misspoke.
This FileDaemon section is not in bacula-dir.conf, but in bacula-fd.conf

Hi every:
If anyone read my old messages then can see that I'm newbie. Following some
members recomendations I start from zero and read almost the entire manual.
First of all I compile bacula-2.2.7 and now it's running with MySQL support.

Hi people.
I have been having problems with bacula and my tape drive, this

This is my log from the last good job last week:

bacula-client-2.2.7-1.el4.x86_64.rpm
It's on Sourceforge, follow the link from Bacula's website.

type (RHEL4, x86_64). I am currently using
bacula-client-2.0.0-1.el4.x86_64.rpm
Which I'm not sure where I got this from. I've noticed that for clients I've
enabled data encryption for, its only the clients running this
