Hey, Kern, Arno and Josh!
I GOT IT -- I GOT IT -- I GOT IT! :-)

Hello,
I'm pleased to see so much interest in a Bacula book and in the documentation.
Thanks.
Taking Andrew Ford's suggestion, I have created a new mailing list

list in the sense that you must subscribe to it in or
Greetings,
I wrote a message titled 'Problem with LTO-3 drive' to the list a few

Hi all,
when configuring bacula sources like
$ ./configure --prefix=/path/to/bacula/binaries ...
then I'd expect the man directory to be set to ${prefix}/man, however it
defaults to /usr/share/man. Is that wanted behavior?

Arno,
thanks for your advice. I don't think you ever got to see the full
log - long posts seem to get chopped off at a certain point. However
your comment about the existence of /dev/fd was the key. It really
didn't exist on my clean install of Mandrake, so I created it linking to
/proc/
I noticed that not all of my first post was recorded - here is the rest
(hopefully) from where it cut off - is there some kind of limit on post
size?,

We have one autochanger with two drives. We have configured both
drives within an autochanger resource (both with "autoselect=yes") in
bacula-sd.conf.
We want to use both drives simultaneously but no job interleaving.
That is, we want to make sure that only one job writes to one volume
