Hi all,
Has anyone packaged up 1.37 for Debian (with funky VSS support)?
I guess I can do it myself - I just want to avoid duplication of effort.

Hello,
I initially thought this problem was due to corruption in my database.
However, the behavior seems to be caused by the SD, FD, and DIR sharing
a working directory. When I assign the FD a different working-dir from
the DIR/SD (e.g. WorkingDirectory = "/var/bacula/fd"), my restores work

Hello,
Yes, I have had a lot of problems to get Bacula to count files correctly.
Despite what one may think, it is not so easy. Anyway, I *think* this is
fixed in 1.37.34

Hi list,
I am running Bacula 1.36.3 on Gentoo Linux, and it has been working well
for some time. I received a verify error recently though, and it
appears to be a discrepancy in the number of files expected versus
number of files found on the tape.

Is there a way to output the results of the list command to a file? While in the console (bconsole) I run the command list volumes (or pools, etc.) and get the results. I would like to redirect that output to a file for viewing/printing. Thanks,

I'm having one problem in restoring files to NTFS and other backuping
files from NTFS.
One occurs during the restore and the other occurs after the backup,
aparently the files are restored completely but the return status of the
job is ERROR.
I will post the error messages here and some clue

I would just create an admin job that loads a cleaning tape and schedule
that job to run whenever you want a scheduled cleaning. You could also
manually run the job if you get soft errors after some large backup job or
something. Creating Admin jobs like this is covered in the manual online.

Hello,
In the future, you need to ask your questions on the bacula-users list.
I believe that if you look on the machine associated with Cecilia-fd
in /mnt/raid/restores, you will find the files. If you failed to mount the
file system, before doing the restore, then they will reside on the loc

Hi,
I'm urgently looking for a solution. The restore of linux files is
working oke. But restoring windows files to a location on the linux
server won't work.
I read in the "restoring on windows" about the permissions, but
in that case I would get some files with the wrong permission. My

Hi Chris,
This is a well known issue. Not all drives need to be offlined before an

If you look a few lines above your two ejects, you can see that there is
already a commented out command that would have solved your problem.
Look here:
