I plan to use bacula but while reading the Documentation some Questions
appear. My Os is an Debian Sarge. I installed the debian packages.
(I know i should ask this on the debian-list also. )
1. How can i make a rescue CD? Is there a script in debian?
2. whats about the /lib/tls issues?
I'm looking for some help determining if my hardware tape library is
doing compression. The documentation for the library says "Compression
is enabled by default unless the backup software disables it" and
nothing really more.

after some weeks of proper operation, my new bacula site causes
problems.
Problem description:
After setting up the site, job scheduling worked for about 2 weeks. Now,
quite often, the director hangs after starting the scheduled jobs at
night. Connecting via console is not possible anymore

and /dev/nst availably for use with mt. This has not functioned before

- The director is running on a Fedora Core 2 Machine.
- The Storage daemon is on the same machine, and stores to HD files,
