Seems to be working fairly well for playback. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to record with semblance of quality. I can "sort of" record voice audio, and I can sort of record my acoustic-electric guitar. Maybe I just need better recording software ??? Been using rec, and play, a

Just checked the model number CT4810 at the Creative Support Site and they say my card is called Sound Blaster Ensoniq AudioPCI. Checked for a Linux driver and they say no driver at present. The number on the main chip is Creative CT5880 not ES. Does any one know more about this please? Kevin

Hi everyone, I am using a Vibra128 Model CT4810 (Creative Sound Blaster AudioPCI). I assumed that the correct Linux driver is snd-card-ens1371. However when I run # amixer I get a error "The ALSA sound driver was not detected in this system". When booting it appears to load ok. Any comments please
