If you don't want the SBLive as first soundcard, you can make quake use the second card by starting q3a with this option described in the Lokigames "Q3A Technical FAQ" at http://www.lokigames.com/support/quake3/faq3-installation.php3#multisound I have multiple sound cards. Is there a way to specify to Quake III which one to use? You can specify the sound device to use with: +set snddevice The default is: "/dev/dsp". Any changes made will be archived in the config file.
