Netscape 4.78 is 8-th modification of 4.7 (4.7.8). Version 4.7 is unmodified (i.e. 4.7.0). And if you look at Bonus Pack CDs which come with AIX 4.3.3 you will find there both Netscape 4.7x (depends on release date of Bonus Pack) and JRE 1.3. They are ready for installation with smitty/installp.

There ought to be nothing special. Examine carefully the place where TR "has a crossing" to Eth. TR is using larger MTU (4200 bytes by default, max 17000+something). - IP packet reassembly might have problems on TSM server side (IP packets on 4200-byte TR frames will be fragmented to 1500-byte Eth
