output of your q volhist. Compare the creation dates. The error must be
more than 7 days before to get the expected number of backups. If you
cannot find the reason, send the output of your q volhist.

A long-running SQL query will run fine one day, hang the next.
I think it MAY be related to having another long-running process (such as
reclamation) in flight while the query is running. (But this could be

Have you queried your drives? Try the "q drive" command to be sure the
drives show online. Then, quickly check out the 'UPD DRIVE libname drivename
ONLINE=YES' command if they are not.

This is with TDP GUI on NT 4. Our Tivoli server sits on AIX 4.3.3. I've
tried active and inactive. I also tried to sort the list by clicking on the
list headers at the top and nothing happens. I've not tried the command
line, as I'm unsure of the syntax. That will be my next step.

You don't have to create a new storage pool for this process.
All you have to do is define a device class of type=file and maxsize of
640MB. (If it needs to fit on a cd-rom)
Then run the generate backupset command using the new devclass.
I would name it file640 to make it easy to remember.

We are using Informix 7.24.UC3 with Tivoli storage Manager on AIX 4.3.3. My
problem is about Database restoration.
I take complete databse backup by using onbar -b -w -L 0 command. For 194 GB
Database, system takes 3 hours and 30 min. But when I tried to restore same
backup using onbar -r -w -

Sharing isn't a problem technically as it like SCSI sharing but
the documentation gives no indication of this, so it might not
be written for the HP-UX version of TSM.
