Windows 2003 6.2.5: "ANR4588E A database backup configuration might be incorrect." This is obviously a bogus message, since sometimes the database *does* back up. Nothing in the db2diag.log (itself suspicious) or the Windows event logs. The only thing I can think of is some sort of memory issue

What the subject says. I stumped as to how the TSM for VE plugin handles the case where there's 1 vCenter but multiple TSM servers. Do all the VMs referenced by the plugin need to be backed up by only 1 TSM server? I can't see a way to have it recognise datamovers backing up to different server

You have the right pieces installed, but IBM doesn't include the Java packages with the client. That has to be working first. What's the message you are getting? I've occasionally seen messages saying the Java version isn't supported, but the client seems to work just fine. Steve STEPHEN STACK

Even though we satisfied all the TDP pre-reqs for the restore, we were only successful when both the TDP user and the mailbox were in the same AD OU. If not, the TDP couldn't find the mailbox. If they were, the mailbox restore worked just fine. We're currently testing a patch for the OU issue.

Howard, Dunno about the others, but the "object not found" errors are simply the result of the control-file autobackup. RMAN apparently checks for a control file backup of the same name (thus the "object not found") before doing the control file backup. You can ignore those errors. Steve Step
