a automated clean of the drive with the cleaning tape left in the 3590 tape
unit, we find that the drive is off-line when we do a Q DRIVE. We then
have to halt TSM then restart it which is frustrating to do all the ti

If you go to 3.7.4, you can't regress the level and be able to bring up your
TSM server.
Therefore you should be sure to make a database backup or two prior to
upgrading.

We have, but our SAN switches/Gateways are IBM re-badges so we had them
