help with latest version of Itunes
After upgrading to the latest version of Itunes, I am having some trouble with the search page of the Itunes store. In the previous version I'd see a context menu where JAWS would read choices like music, movies, TV shows, podcasts, before I'd get to the edit boxes to input the artist and title. There'd also be a check box to search for songs of a higher quality. I'm not seeing these options now. All I see are fields for title and artist, and a check box for searching for songs to be made into ring tones. How do I get the other options to show up if they are still in the latest version? http://www.theanimalrescuesite.com/clickToGive/home.faces?siteId=3 email and MSN: tlsy...@yahoo.com To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org
an interesting proposal
Hello, I have been asked to explore the possibility of providing a radio stream, or radio streams to multiple clients each wanting to access content specific to the service he offers. Kind a like a streaming radio station at his business. Question. How can I achieve this? Can I set up like a server dedicating a stream to each client? And if so, how so? I really crave advice in this regard. Any help is greatly appreciated. To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: pc-audio-unsubscr...@pc-audio.org

Hi, You'd get bandwitth and allicate it running shoutcast servers. problem is that you'd need the bandwitth, and there are many stable services already out there. I'm not knocking your idea, but google around, check out the compitition, and see what you can provide that they can not. doesn't spacial audio do multiple streaming? >From everything I have seen so far, Gold wave is a very good sound editor, and that is it's primary purpose. I would recommend sonar for multi-tracking. Learning the program can be a bit overwhelming and quite daunting at first, but once you get the hang of it, you will find that you can do a lot with it. Re: multi-tracking software.
Not true, Bruce. Programs such as Sonar allow you to, for example, record a piano track today, a flute track tomorrow, etc. After all tracks are recorded, you can make changes to each track as you see fit. From there, you can mix it all down to a wav file, MP3 file or some other format. Now, let's say that you play the audio file and say to yourself, "Oops, that vocal track is too loud." With Sonar, you can reload the project, lower the volume on that vocal track and save a new audio version of the project. With Goldwave, multitracking requires the use of several sound windows. RE: multi-tracking software.
Yes that one's called Multiquence. I don't know how accessible it is, Sonar seems to be the gold standard for multitrack and accessibility although Audacity is one to watch. For a really good implementation of sound on sound, which is what Sound Forge, Goldwave etc do, Studio Recorder is amazing since you can actually hear what you're recording over. multi-track recording
Hi, I also use Sornar with Cakewtalk and JFW as well as We with great results. However, I also use soundforge for editing files because of the very friendly cueing feature. I also use adobe audition for addition affects. Probably because of inexperience, but I find sornar's affects challenging to add/change. Absolutely, it's a great program if one has the money for it. Bruce On Thu, 14 May 2009, Jonathan Mosen wrote: Yes that one's called Multiquence. They do, but it's not accessible, as far as I know. Re: sonar
Hello, Jed and all. I am a Sonar user as well, and I use Jaws, but I've not used it with dancing dots I find that JSonar whichc are free jaws scripts for Sonar works pretty well, especially as I'm not able to afford CakeTalk just yet.If anyone's interested the link to JSonar is: http://www.jsonar.org hope this helps.
