I personally wouldn't go that route, especially if you had to pay for the thing first, not knowing if it's going to be accessible or not. cd burners
When someone asks which cd burning software is the best, the answer usually indicates that the best is the one that's familiar with the user. I liked roxio through version six, though, after letting the program update itself, my cd rom was no longer recognized on my laptop. I downloaded a copy of nero six and have been using it ever since. I tried roxio seven, and at least, out of the box, it seems completely unaccessible. I never spent an inordinate amount of time struggling with it since nero worked so well. Re: cd burners
Yes I would so there is. If something is working real well for you don't fix it unless you really want to try something new. I had used Roxio easy cd creator6 for the longest time and then one day I tried Nero. I found once I got past the learning curv of Nero I really liked it. Also Roxio installs tons of programs that are not screen reader friendly. Nero has these as well but they are much smaller in size. Nero won't bog the machine down. That's been my experience. You have nothing to lose by giving new programs a try. Once you find one you like uninstall the other ones and stick with it. *** REPLY SEPARATOR *** On 9/12/2004 at 5:35 AM stever2525 wrote: >When someone asks which cd burning software is the best, the answer >usually >indicates that the best is the one that's familiar with the user. Hi, burners, So I looked at the premier... program and I also see that there's no cd-copy, but it sher does seem to emphasize compiling things which is a good thing. However I wanna install a program that will copy cd's, burn both data and audio cd's and both data and audio dvd's since those are inevitable formats we'll use anyway. Will Nero and Roxio doo all that? Thanks. Jay At 07:40 AM 9/12/04 -0700, you wrote: >Yes I would so there is. Re: which version of Real Player?
No version of real player is good for you. From a standpoint, you have two options. The first and most stable option is to go searching for "Real Alternative." It is as it says. There are also plugins for Winamp that can play Real media files, and a friend of mine made it so you do not need Real player at all for those, but Real Alternative, from what I hear is better. Re: nfl field pass problem.
I was really amazed with NFL Field Pass today. Last year the audio was not as good as mlb.com. And that's a real insult, believe me. But today, I have listened to some of the Steelers feed and Some of the Atlanta feed and both were just excelent. Of course, last year I was on dialup and this year I have broadband. I wonder if that would make that much difference in the audio quality. Maybe mlb.com should take some lessons because their audio quality is still very bad. I don't know if i'm even going to pay for it again next year if they don't do some improving. - Original Message - From: "kevin and emma" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "PC audio discussion list. Re: which version of Real Player?
Download the latest version or depending on what you are listening to it might not let you listen. Re: cd burners
Nero protects you better. It won't write to a disk unless its sure. roxio willl try to write first then tell you about a problem after the disk is destroyed. mp3 and wav questions
I am trying to understand the differences, with audio, between data files and music files. I understand that MP3 is a data file, and I assumed until now, wav was a music file, since my audio cds are .wav. On my PC, I have wav files 64kbps. Would these be considered data or music files.I want to burn them to cd. Sorry for the confusion, thank you. ___ PC-Audio List Help, Guidelines, Archives and more... http://www.pc-audio.org To unsubscribe from this list, send a blank email to: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
