I liked roxio through version six, though, after letting the program update itself, my cd rom was no longer recognized on my laptop. I downloaded a copy of nero six and have been using it ever since. I tried roxio seven, and at least, out of the box, it seems completely unaccessible. I never spent an inordinate amount of time struggling with it since nero worked so well.

When someone asks which cd burning software is the best, the answer usually
indicates that the best is the one that's familiar with the user. When I got
my CDRW, it came with Roxio, so that's what I became familiar with. People
on this list also discuss Nero. My question, is there really a noticeable
difference between the packages? thank you
