Hello,

Is there a way/config , where I can get notification(email), once the 
warranty /end date expires or before expiry of 1 month.

Generic Agent does not have such capacity.
I use 3.1.1

You need to develop that or buy it from

[otrs] upgrade from 3.3.10 to 4.0.2

Hi all

I am following the manual, but at the end I have some problems with the httpd 
restart.

It fails due the perl Apache2::Return (Can't locate Apache2/Reload.pm), but 
when I try to install it (like suggest form the otrs.CheckModules.pl) with "yum 
install perl(Apache2::Reload)" I don't find it anywhere.

Moreover, that module should be optional
OS: Centos 6.5

Any idea ?

[otrs] Change the color of "NOTE" in Ticket

Hello, 

When agent closes the ticket, it is in red color and when one write the note, 
its also in "red" color. So, its confusing. I would like to change the color of 
NOTE. (I have enable Sysconfig setting: Ticket::UseArticleColors ) 

Any idea? Is it possible in OTRS 4.2 ?? Is there any development going on to 
create new article type?

[otrs] Pre-defined email addresses to forward tickets

Hello,

I would like to know how to set up specific queues with a set of
pre-defined email addresses to forward tickets to (ex. the email addresses
of my external second line support) to avoid that the agents have to
manually enter the email addresses to forward to, as sometimes they make a
typo and the email doesn't get sent

[otrs] Queue view

Hello,

Is it possible to have a queue which is a combined list, in chronological
order, of all tickets in all queues. The purpose of this is to enable an
agent working on multiple queues to work through all tickets in
chronological order and be able to easily see tickets which are getting
old, no matter which queue they arrived in.

It is a mail forward. There is by design no pre selected address.
To avoid typos, use correct backends.
For predefined e-mail addresses, use event based notifications.
Use processes.

The Perl package Apache2::Reload is not in EPEL (see 
http://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/repoview/letter_p.group.html). 
 Use CPAN to install it or install it manually.

[otrs] Salutation, template and signature texts not showing after upgrade to OTRS 4.01

Hi,
I upgraded from OTRS 3.3 to 4.01.02 moving the system from Windows to Linux.
Everything is ok, except that when replying to a ticket the system is not 
showing salutation, response template and signature TEXT but the following code:

$QData{"Salutation"}
$QData{"StdResponse"}
$QData{"Signature"}

$TimeShort{"$QData{"Created"}"} - $QData{"OrigFromName"} $Text{"wrote"}:
$QData{"Body"}

Any idea about what went wrong and how to fix it?

With the switch from homebrew template system to Template::Toolkit the
syntax changed.

Your code should look like

Sorry to get you to documentation again:
predefined e-mail addresses, with this I meant: "use external address
databases" for your e-mail addresses (LDAP for example) then you don't have to
type it.

the event based notifications can be used for your goal "sending mails to
e-mail receipients"
based on events:

Processes: you can use processes to address mail receipients.

I am not going to explain it in detail. Just play with the functions
(espacially event based
