Forward behiour
Hello I have read with interest the "forward format" debate, however it's still unclear because I have lost the previous messages due to over-zealous pruning of my mailbox last night. Therefore, can someone please help me out and tell me how to configure my beloved .muttrc to do the following: If I forward a multipart message with an text and an attachment, I want to edit the text part and still have the attachment in my message. Also, can I change the opening and closing "Forwarded message" and "End forwarded message" lines? If you want this to always be changed and are using something like vim, then an autocommand should take care of it as well. What is "bouncing"?
Hi! Could anyone please explain what mutt does when "bouncing" a message? Is it re-sending to a different address with the same Msg-ID? I'm asking this because those messages never seem to make it through my procmail duplicates filter :0 Wh: msgid.lock | formail -D 8192 msgid.cache which makes it difficult for me to keep track of them. -Andre msg24505/pgp0.pgp Description: PGP signature

I tried running with set pgp_encrypt_only_command="cat %f" Which, let's face it, should be able to produce something. However, when an 'encrypted' mail arrives, it just contains two attachments - the first is comments on the GPG format/version (as per the PGP/MIME spec), and the second attachment is approx. 8 blank lines, base-64 encoded. FORMAIL(1) FORMAIL(1) NAME formail - mail (re)formatter DESCRIPTION formail is a filter that can be used to force mail into mailbox format, perform `From ' escaping, generate auto- replying headers, do simple header munging/extracting or split up a mailbox/digest/articles file. The mail/mail box/article contents will be expected on stdin. If formail is supposed to determine the sender of the mail, but is unable to find any, it will substitute `foo@bar'. If formail is started without any command line options, it will force any mail coming from stdin into mailbox format and will escape all bogus `From ' lines with a `>'. [snip]
