how do you back up contacts, bookmarks and calendar?
How do you back up contacts, bookmarks and calendar on the mac using Mountain Lion? I have an external Hard drive I want to back up my files too. Are their settings files that I can also back up? For some things I have read I need to go to library and safari for backing up bookmarks but I cannot find a safari folder? Thanks for your help. Re: New 2013 macbook Pro retina display freezing and saying "busy, busy"
my 2011 macbook pro has done this from day one of purchase. I just have to wait until it finishes unfortunately. I am going to take it to where I purchased a couple years ago and the service manager will check a few things for me. I will report back if it can be fixed. I have repaired permissions and no change. My macbook has 8 gb ram but has had this problem since I first changed over to mac. Its frustrating but wondering if it is just a voice over problem. Re: Paprika clipping recipes
I have used the browser and food network or the pioneer woman and had great success with save recipe. I use the browser and go to the recipe I want then vo left arrow to save recipe and select it. then it pops up with name of recipe and prompts to make sure all info is correct. It usually is for both those sites and I change whatever needs to be then select done. It then appears in my recipes . Make sure you select which categories you want and it will add the recipe there. The developer is nice and responsive if you email them for help. documents and spreadsheets
Hi, I wondered if there are ways to read and edit spreadsheets on the mac? If so how and with which applications? I have a macbook with lion and have pages and numbers. When I open spreadsheets in numbers .xls file though nothing talks at all for the spreadsheet. for documents I so far use text edit but wondered if there is something more robust for editing documents accessibly? I have tried pages but not found it to be accessible for me yet. I wondered if there are settings I should change or do I need a different program or for office products on a mac are we not there yet with accessibility? Appreciate any recommendations? I need to edit documents to create flyers and keep records and on the spreadsheet end am wanting to track income and expenses. I am open to another app that works well with voice over to track income and expenses too so I have good records to send to the CPA at the end of the year for income tax and so on and am also needing something for my record keeping for a small business. I appreciate any suggestions or thoughts on apps. Thank you! Laura Ann -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "MacVisionaries" group. I have been able to view post and am now enjoying using voice book vo on iOS. The developer will add new features as the app grows and I look forward to that. I have not had the issues your describing on m.facebook.com with language. that sounds tedious and frustrating. I check statuses mostly now with voicebook when I am on FB. I look forward to new developments with it soon. I use the macbook m.facebook.com and firefox fix lately and it works. I change and sometimes use other sites of facebook too depending on what I am trying to do. I agree its combersome and frustrating.
