Hi, I wondered if there are ways to read and edit spreadsheets on the mac? If so how and with which applications?
I have a macbook with lion and have pages and numbers. When I open spreadsheets in numbers .xls file though nothing talks at all for the spreadsheet. for documents I so far use text edit but wondered if there is something more robust for editing documents accessibly? I have tried pages but not found it to be accessible for me yet. I wondered if there are settings I should change or do I need a different program or for office products on a mac are we not there yet with accessibility? Appreciate any recommendations? I need to edit documents to create flyers and keep records and on the spreadsheet end am wanting to track income and expenses. I am open to another app that works well with voice over to track income and expenses too so I have good records to send to the CPA at the end of the year for income tax and so on and am also needing something for my record keeping for a small business.
