https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=495878 --- Comment #52 from BananasGoMoo --- Alright, I've discovered the issue. To reproduce this issue - 1: Have the setting enabled "Remember Display Style for each folder" 2: Have the default view as "details" mode 3: Go to any particular folder (ie ~/Documents) 4: use the UI Toolbar button to change the UI mode to "Icons" 5: change folder to somewhere else 6: return to original folder This does not apply to using "compact mode" view This also does not apply if you use Menu -> More -> View -> Adjust View Display Style using that menu properly changes it even without changing other settings. So this seems to be a slightly different issue than the original. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[konsole] [Bug 499492] New: unexpected behavior when select / copy a long text which is displayed in multi-line

It's shown in multi-line due to the width of the Konsole window. When I triple-click on the text, only the whole displayed line (not the complete text) is selected. When I drag mouse cursor to select the whole "multi-line" text and copy it, there are newline characters at the end of each displayed line in the clipboard. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Output a long text (longer then thw width of the Konsole window), by such as echo "x..." . 2. Triple-click on the text. 3. Drag mouse cursor to select the whole text and copy it, then paste to a text editor. OBSERVED RESULT 1. Triple-click select the displayed line only. 2. The copied / pasted text is not one-line text. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=490057 --- Comment #8 from Jonathan Cox --- (In reply to Vlad Zahorodnii from comment #7) > The issue is linked to allowing X11 clients sniff keyboard events. Of course, but those of us with it on are using push to talk and similar functionality. > With the keyboard sniffing policy set to "Never", the X11 client will > receive no button press event after switching between virtual desktops. This is true, I was suggesting that perhaps the buttons being sent contribute to the focus stealing, perhaps some buttons are being sent that are not actually being used by users for this functionality. > With any other keyboard sniffing policy, the X11 client will receive a > button press event. [Akonadi] [Bug 440563] Moving two emails to another folder overwrites one with the other in local cache
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=440563 Brendon Higgins changed: What|Removed |Added Version|5.21.3 |6.3.0 --- Comment #3 from Brendon Higgins --- Just tested, this bug still occurs on Debian's latest builds in testing: I select two emails in KMail, move them to another folder, it syncs, and now the two cached emails both have identical bodies. Don't even need to restart Akonadi or anything. If I do restart Akonadi, then the subject and dates in KMail also become identical (though the attachment icon seems to stay intact). If I clear the cache of that folder and resync, they're back to normal. I'm tempted to change the affected version of the bug to GIT master - think it'd be a safe bet at this point. FWIW I have serveral IMAP accounts, all GMail, and seems to happen on any of them. Perhaps a race condition, or maybe the cache DB write routine simply fails to iterate through the emails when getting contents. I wonder if there's a scenario for true data loss, like if I moved the duplicate email a second time to another folder... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[frameworks-kio] [Bug 484580] No access to webdavs since plasma6
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=484580 --- Comment #17 from jolic --- Hallo, first of all, a big thank you to all the developers and contributors who make KDE such a great project! I really appreciate the hard work of all the volunteers, and I understand that patience is often necessary. However, I wanted to point out that WebDAVs has not been working in Dolphin for almost a year now, and since today's major Manjaro KDE update (stable 2025-02-04), it is also no longer working in Krusader. This makes managing files over WebDAV quite difficult. As a temporary solution, I am currently using Nautilus, which works flawlessly. On my new PC, I have even switched to Cinnamon since I experience fewer issues with WebDAVs there. I hope this issue will be resolved soon, and I sincerely appreciate all the great work you do! https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=495741 --- Comment #17 from ozziem --- Please disregard my comment above regarding EndeavourOS - I forgot that I was running an X11 session. In my setups, I can resolve the focus issue when switching between windows on different virtual desktops using Alt-Tab by disabling the Plasma setting: “Apps & Windows” - “Window Management” - “Virtual Desktops” - “Show on-screen display when switching”. I still think it is a regression introduced in 6.2.4 since I always had this setting enabled previously. [krita] [Bug 499504] New: Selection mask unselected zone color should not adhere to colorspace
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=499504 Bug ID: 499504 Summary: Selection mask unselected zone color should not adhere to colorspace Classification: Applications Product: krita Version: 5.2.2 Platform: Arch Linux OS: Linux Status: REPORTED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: Tools/Selection Assignee: krita-bugs-n...@kde.org Reporter: gbros...@proton.me Target Milestone: --- Created attachment 177957 --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=177957&action=edit A screenshot displaying the issue. SUMMARY Unselected zones in selection masks adhere to the grayscale colorspace, appearing grey instead of the usual red when it is selected for the current document. This color adhering to the colorspace is pointless as it is never shown in the final document, and detrimental as it makes unselected space less visible when working with selection masks in grayscale documents (gray on gray). Additionally, the colorspace is silently selected by Krita when opening a grayscale document, meaning users not aware of this issue will think the selection mask is not working or that they are painting on the actual pixel layer (like I did). STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open an document with the grayscale colorspace, or set a document's colorspace to grayscale. 2. Create and select any selection mask. 3. Observe the unselected zones highlighted by the mask. Paint or erase on the mask to see it better. OBSERVED RESULT The unselected zones appear gray (and are difficult to see). EXPECTED RESULT The unselected zones should appear red, or some other clearly visible color.
