Interesting. 
It seems that connecting to some type of HDD is an issue for KDE-framework.

Let me know your HHD type. Do the following: Press Ctrl + Shift +Esc ->
Performance -> click on the drive D: -> upload here a screenshot of this view.

Then I can check if your type of HDD has an issue with the KDE-Framework.
