You really need to take a little more of the responsibility for figuring this out yourself. Only a fool would try to learn this without ever trying to run the compiler. Do you always take this approach to learning something new? Did you learn to drive a car (assuming you did) by reading a manual? Do you think fighter pilots train by just reading manuals? Maybe you would like to learn to ski, by reading a f*ing manual???
