Sorry about this. The few modifications made by us are also in the public
domain. I'll correct the notice accordingly.

Looks pretty clear from the License.txt file that this file was placed in the
public domain (like all others from cryptopp), so again I only need to correct
the comment.  

Checked other public domain notices in the tarball again, looking for similar
problems, but they looked ok to me.

Of course, we are aware of this issue and fully agree with you, so our
documentation files already refer to GNU/Linux. Found a few instances there
that did not include GNU, no problem to correct them. 

But I have a question about this. Where exactly should we "call" GNU/Linux?
The source tree includes "Linux" and "linux" (not including GNU) about two
thousand times. Most of this is in GNU autotools output (names of internally
used variables, etc.) and some of it clearly is unfixable. For example, the
gcc target for GNU/Linux is named "linux", so that source files have to use
"#ifdef __linux__" and the like.
