Follow-up Comment #5, task #16088 (project administration): > Your download area will be: > http://download.savannah.nongnu.org/releases/datestamp/
Two questions: 1. Why is this http and not https? Not an expert, but isn't the later more safe? 2. My question was not about the download area. While browsing through some other projects, I noticed that the general structure of the URL of any repository is like https://web.cvs.savannah.nongnu.org/viewvc/<project>, is that correct? I am asking this because in the LaTeX community it's a general practice to give the link to the repository of the package as well as the link to it's bug tracker. So would http://savannah.nongnu.org/projects/datestamp be the correct URL to the repository or https://web.cvs.savannah.nongnu.org/viewvc/datestamp? Also for the bug tracker would https://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?group=datestamp do? _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?16088> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.nongnu.org/
