Hi, simply load the USB subsystem on linux and plug in the scanner. Then dmesg will show something like: Product: USB SCANNER usb.c: unhandled interfaces on device usb.c: USB device 2 (vend/prod 0x7b3/0x17) is not claimed by any active driver. Or you check the proc-fs by using cat /proc/bus/usb/devices: [SNIPSNAP] D: Ver= 1.00 Cls=00(>ifc ) Sub=00 Prot=00 MxPS= 8 #Cfgs= 1 P: Vendor=07b3 ProdID=0017 Rev= 1.00 S: Manufacturer=Plustek Inc.
