Does the iso burn automatically make the CD bootable or do I have to
specify I want a bootable CD via my CD-burning software?

Does LiveCD provide the Notebook? I checked the readme but couldn't
see any reference to the notebook but didn't know if that signified
absence from LiveCD or only from the readme.
