Hi Offray, Thanks for the info on taking this approach with students - it sounds very workable.
I'll certainly take a look at your image, and I think joining forces makes a lot of sense. I certainly have a good idea of what I'd like to include. I'm relatively new to VirtualBox and most of my experience is with Kubuntu and Debian, but it would be good to expand my horizons. I'll be back in touch off-list with some thoughts after I look at your current version.
