The editor thing worked out great while people were all in the same place, but so far online it has not worked very well. We are down numerically regarding the tickets without review and I agree that authors (especially if they have been around a while and know the right people to ping) should solicit reviews. We certainly need more reviews, but overall the balance is being maintained. Either way: If anyone can come up with a better system please let us know.
