There are numerous problems and I quite honestly see little gain from
supporting it. It might be somewhat risky to rely on the vmware player
(since it might stop to be free as in beer), but then one can always
go back to cygwin or the Microsoft tools (the former VirtualPC). It
seems that my time allocated for SAGE might be much more useful spend
on SAGEControl and CoCoALib integration compared to the endless pain
of debugging and rebuilding SAGE on Cygwin.
