If we are going to discard software because of their name, we should remove a lot of essential software, like: wine, and any software that forks itself in the background, since they fall under the category of "daemons". At least the icon of totem isn't a shirk thing that relates to the name (compared to wine that uses a glass of wine as an icon !), also it is called "Movie Player" in the menu.
