G. H"olzer et al. (Phys. Rev. A 56 (1997) pp. 4554 ff.) have done the
latest, most accurate determination of the Kalpha plus Kbeta spectrum
of the transition elements (which are, partially, used as X ray tube
anodes). Their fits show a 0.9% satellite at 0.229365nm for Cr, the
maximum of Cr Kalpha1 is situated at 0.228972nm. For all other tube
anodes, they give no hint for satellites. This gives a 0.05 deg shift to
lower angles for 2Theta=100deg for Cr Kalpha. Following this results,
I believe: Mostly, the reported Kalpha 345... lines are in true
tube tails.

Sincerely yours
