In fact, reading the instructions provided with GSAS is not much
help, since NT does not use an AUTOEXEC file. The SET commands can be
set up using the system/environment controls in the control panel.
Whilst this allows the windows frontend to GSAS to be called up,
it still can't actually run any of the programs. I don't know
why. Does anyone else?
I suggest running the .bat file from NT instead and operating in DOS,
which works fine.
